What is Wings of War about? |
Wings of War is a game series which merges card and board
game mechanics to recreate
aerial combat. The first
series of Wings of War games focus on the "knights of the
air" age,
World War I, portraying
the abilities of
the fighting planes of
this period. |
Each Wings of War set is a complete game for 2 to 4 players,
which may be combined with
additional sets, or with
other copies of
the same set, to play larger
games. For that
purpose,
23 planes with different
colors are included
in each box. Each plane
comes with accurate
historical documentation |
|
What is available for the
game? |
Wings of War: Famous Aces

types of planes:
the Nieuport 11, Hanriot
HD.1 and Halberstadt
D.III fighters, and
the British/American
DH4 and the Austrian
Ufag C.I two-seaters.

Wings of War Boosters
Come fly the unfriendly skies!
Expand your Wings of War game with these easily-accessible booster
packs.
Each pack contains two maneuver decks and
several airplanes for use in any
Wings of War game. With aircraft from all parts of World
War I, including the
Eastern European conflicts that followed
it, both the Top Fighters and Recon
Patrol decks are a must-have for any Wings of War fan!
Wings of War: Recon Patrol includes the popular D maneuver deck, as
well as
the new K deck, for two-seater aircraft.
It includes a variety of airplanes, from
the
Sopwith Triplane of Naval 1, planes from
Richthofen's "Flying Circus," and
even a
Turkish Breguet Br.14 B2. Recon Patrol is a suitable addition to any of the three
Wings of War base games.
Wings of War: Top Fighters includes two brand new maneuver decks, the
L and
M decks, which offer some never-before seen
flying tricks! Top Fighters includes
two of the best planes of the war, the Fokker
D.VII and the Sopwith Snipe, as well
as a host of other aircraft from Germany,
Australia, Britain, and several airplanes
from the Russian Civil Wars spanning 1919-1922.
All the aircraft from this set use
the A damage deck, and are therefore best
combined with Wings of War: Famous
Aces or Wings of War: Burning Drachens.

Wings of War Miniature Airplanes
Take to the skies with Wings of War Miniatures!
Wings of War Miniatures take your Wings of War game into three dimensions!
Each pre-painted plastic model depicts a
unique, historical warplane from the
Wings of War game, complete with maneuver
deck and variable-altitude stand.
Outfly and outfight your friends like never
before!
Each Wings of War Miniatures pack includes:
- One pre-painted pewter-and-plastic model
in 1/144 scale.
- Four clear plastic altitude pegs.
- One clear plastic gaming base, with stats,
fire arc, and movement markers.
- One deck of maneuver cards, specific to the

Wings of War Miniatures packs are not a complete game. You will
need rules, rulers, damage decks, and tokens
from the base Wings of War games in order to play. However, a Wings of War Miniatures pack is an excellent and easy way to expand
your Wings of War game past the contents of one box.
These Wings of War Miniatures focus on planes and pilots from the Wings of War: Famous Aces base game. Future Wings of War Miniatures sets will include planes from other Wings of War games
